Megan Callow

PSYCHOLOGIST

As your therapist, I am passionate about teaching you the skills to cope effectively, when things in life don’t go as planned. I endeavour to create an open, non-judgmental and warm space to help you feel at ease when discussing your difficulties. I utilise a strengths and values based approach when empowering you to overcome obstacles, build psychological resilience and not only survive, but thrive.

I have previously worked in both the government and private sector, working with adolescents and adults. In my work with you, I draw on a number of therapeutic approaches including: Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) therapies. I work towards a shared understanding of your difficulties, which allows me to tailor a treatment plan to suit each individual I work with. I am especially fond of mindfulness to promote wellbeing, and ‘practice what I preach’ through my own daily yoga practice and regular mindfulness practices. I am looking forward to building these skills in for you and working with you here at GrayMind Psychology.
