Dr Anna Hickling
CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST
I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable and supported to share your experiences and learn more about yourself. My therapeutic style is warm, empathetic, and approachable in nature and I prioritise working collaboratively to ensure we are focussing on what is important to you and will empower you to best support yourself outside of sessions.
I have previously worked with people across the lifespan and supported people from varied backgrounds presenting with mood concerns, eating disorders, trauma, substance use, and adjustment to significant life events. I also have a particular interest in the interplay of physical and mental health problems and believe that therapy plays an important role in managing and adjusting to chronic illness.
I utilise a range of evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, ACT, and Schema Therapy, with each of these approaches tailored to your unique needs and goals.
Please reach out if you have any questions and I look forward to getting to speak with you soon at GrayMind Psychology.
