Dr Phoebe Cook

PSYCHOLOGIST

I am passionate about helping others to overcome challenges, build resilience and reach personal and professional goals so that they may live more meaningful and satisfying lives. My therapeutic approach is calming and gentle, yet empowering.

I endeavour to make you feel heard, validated and hopeful during our time together. I tend to focus on strengths, values, solutions, self-compassion and fulfillment. Drawing primarily on principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and positive psychology, I ensure the strategies I use are both evidence-based and pragmatic given your individual needs, challenges and goals. With a background in organisational psychology, I bring experience with work-related issues including stress, burnout, self-doubt and perfectionism. In addition I offer couples counselling utilising the Gottman Method Couples Therapy approach.

I also offer corporate speaking for organisations and events on topics such as Impostor Syndrome and Perfectionism, Preventing Burnout and Managing Stress, Responding to Setbacks, Resilience at Work, Building Emotional Intelligence and more. Please enquire through reception for specific event speaking needs.

If you feel my bio resonates for you and your current challenges, please reach out as I am eager to connect with you here at GrayMind Psychology.
