Georgia Marsh
CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST (REGISTRAR)
I am a psychologist and neuropsychologist who works with adults navigating a wide range of mental health and emotional challenges. I am interested in helping people better understand themselves, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives.
With dual training in clinical psychology and neuropsychology, I bring a thoughtful, brain-informed perspective to my work. I am especially interested in helping people build a healthy and whole sense of self, and understand the importance of building purpose and meaning in order to create lasting change. Ultimately, I like to utilise my understanding of neuropsychology, neuroscience, and clinical psychology to build a safe, trusting, and collaborative space for therapy that considers my client’s whole life story to ensure that therapy is well-suited to the individual.
I have experience supporting people in public and private settings with general mental health challenges and cognitive concerns, and have more specific interests in helping people with eating disorders and trauma. My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies such as Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and somatic based models that promote emotional willingness and an integrative approach.
At the heart of my practice is a strong belief in the importance of the therapeutic relationship. I like to take the time to build a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable to explore their thoughts and feelings. I work collaboratively with my clients, and value warmth, curiosity, and humour in our interactions.
I welcome adults from all walks of life and am committed to providing gender, neurodiverse, sexuality, and culturally inclusive and sensitive care that supports emotional wellbeing and psychological growth.
